On 22 May 2025 the ninth Najaf Shopping Exhibition and Festival opened at the Najaf International Exhibition grounds near Najaf Airport, running until 2 June.

Al-Sabah newspaper reported 330 local and international companies and eight countries: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Turkey, China and India. An Exhibition official described this edition as the largest of its kind since the festival began.
